Okay, so it took me a few too many days to get this up, but to make a long story short, I’ve been living in two places like a crazy person thanks to work the last few weeks, and it’s making it difficult to do simple things like upload pictures. (I am HAUNTED by disappearing USB cords.)
But here are my prized babies from the Opening Ceremony Sample Sale. I wish OC had one every week! Not only was the selection incredible and the prices even more fantastic, but it was so well run and organized. In fact, it almost took the fun out of sample sale shopping, everyone was so polite and it was all so orderly!
I didn’t get to go until the second day, so it seems I missed out on the Proenza Schouler, Alexander Wang, etc. But there were some Alexandre Herchcovitch and whatnot left, just nothing that made me swoon. Here’s what I did swoon for:
This Opening Ceremony jacket has a way of looking a bit frumpsters on the hanger. I wasn’t in love at first sight. But then I saw a girl walk by wearing it, and I saw the adorable shape it takes on – the peblum really pops. Now, I LOVE it. It was $485, and I snatched it for $50. Yup.
